Deploy a .Net Core App to a Linux Server Hosted by 1and1

Carrying on from developing .Net Core apps on a Mac, this tutorial shows you how to deploy a .net core app on a cheap linux server host, but using Plesk.

  1. I think to save some time and hustle – all of this is done very easily with docker extension for plesk or just in general with docker image

  2. Thanks, Very good video, and it worked immediately with me, the only thing is when i tried to make a second domain, and used the same configuration but changed them accordingly, the new domain opens the previous domain core app, do u have a solution?

  4. I have followed your video above but it is not working. This is first time I test deploy my site on Linux server. I always use Windows server and .net always run perfectly on Asphostportal windows hosting server. I get 404 error. Any advice? If still not working, maybe I will stay using Windows server.

  6. I made the exact same steps, but i get a:

    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator at [no address given] to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Apache Server at Port 80
