  1. firebase : The term 'firebase' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.

  5. Thank you so much for this!!! Been wanting to deploy this webpage to firebase and now I know how I really appreciate it!

  6. So I follow the steps, but the system will not populate the files. Within the folder a public folder is not made, nor is the firebase.json or .firebasrc actually being written. The system says it does that, but it does not. What steps do I need to take to fix this?

  7. === Project Setup

First, let's associate this project directory with a Firebase project.

You can create multiple project aliases by running firebase use –add,

but for now we'll just set up a default project.

? Please select an option: Use an existing project

Error: Failed to list Firebase projects. See firebase-debug.log for more info.

It worked well with me till the end, but when I opened the local server link, I got (Open hosting documentation) button.
    what shall I do?

    Thank you..

  9. I think the script has been updated, and if you got "cannot get" even you put your own html in the public folder, it means you got to change your html to "index.html" and replace the one the system created

  10. Great for a code beginner like myself! Thank you. Question: I have an images folder too alongside my pages HTML, css files etc. Does that change anything?

  11. Is it possible to have a NodeJS app running 24/7 on Firebase? Not one that is waiting for requests but that is running on it's own.

  12. firebase : File C:UsersmeshoAppDataRoamingnpmfirebase.ps1 cannot be loaded. The file

C:UsersmeshoAppDataRoamingnpmfirebase.ps1 is not digitally signed. You cannot run this

script on the current system. For more information about running scripts and setting execution

    policy, see about_Execution_Policies at https:/

  13. 3:26 This is the weird part where I mention having 2 domains associated with the project (to distinguish: not versions)

This prompt you get is different than mine, despite also having created a few projects on the console (GUI / site) before initializing them on the CLI

  14. My "firebase serve" resulted in the Page Not Found 404 error page. What mistake did I make to cause this? My public folder does a have a few more files i.e. an images folder and a js file, is that to blame?
