FTP TO GOOGLE CLOUD PLATFORM
How to FTP to your VM instance on Google Cloud Platform. This Google Cloud Tutorial applies to Lamp Stack, Bitnami, WordPress or any VM instance that you create on Google Cloud. This also helps if you are uploading a WordPress theme to your VM Instance.
I will show you how to create an SSH key, which contains a public and private key, using a Terminal on a Mac. Then upload the public key to your VM instance on Google Cloud Platform. I will use Filezilla with the private key that you’ll create to connect to the VM instance.

Error: FATAL ERROR: No supported authentication methods available (server sent: publickey)
Error: Could not connect to server
Excellent this worked for me but I am getting a "Could not start transfer" error, any help on resolving this, please? Thank
It was interesting to see you go out the home folder, could you upload files outside that folder? I'm only able to upload files to the home folder, but not directly in the /var/www/html folder. The error states that the user doesn't have permissions.
Thank you very much!
Perfect, thanks
Thanks, but it doesn't connect to the server. There must be some settings in GCP that block the connection. Any ideas?
It said Disconnected: No supported authentication methods available (server sent: publickey)
Any ideas?

Great tutorial. I'm on Mac and all steps worked smoothly! Also good video, sound is clear and pace of the video is good. I recommend this compared to many other tutorials you can find on this topic, especially for Mac users!
