Hosting a Discord Bot for Free – 24/7 ONLINE!

In this tutorial, I will show you guys how to host your Discord Bot/Web Application on a cloud 24/7. We will be using Heroku, which is free and requires no credit card information. You will need to make sure you know how to make a Bot, I recommend watching some of my earlier videos on how to do so. You will also need to know how to use basic git commands, and also have a GitHub account. Please leave any comments down below regarding feedback or troubleshooting, or just join my Discord server and reach out to me for help!

Also, I forgot to mention one thing, the point of the Procfile is to keep your bot on ALL THE TIME. Make sure on Heroku you head over to “Resources”, and have this configured:

  1. Hey guys, be sure to check out the IN-DEPTH and UPDATED tutorial – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEQo3mj-BuY

  2. Its not working.
I have only watched up to 4:45 and it is already not working.
I have been trying to make my bot run 24/7 for 15 hours and just nothing works

  3. I use VS code, when I use npm init -y , it says npm is not recognized, I am using python for bot, what will be the changes

  4. 2:27 WHERE DID YOU GET THAT NPM CODER I TRIED COMMAND PROMPTS CUZ IT LOOKED SIMILAR BUT THAT DIDNT WORK AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

  5. It works for a bit then it says:

    Stopping all processes with SIGTERM
    Process exited with status 143

Please, if you have a fix for this, send me a solution!

Edit: I found out what was wrong, u had to enable worker and disable the other option.

  6. The device screen is massive, it barely fits on my laptop. I didn't catch what you wrote after commit at 8:28
