How to deploy Hyper-V host as a VMware vSphere nested



Basic deploy VMware vSphere Nested with Hyper-V Virtual Machine.

– Start SSH on ESXi host
– execut command vi /etc/vmware/config
– Press letter i for modified setting
– At the end command line add tis syntax vhv.allow = “True”
– Exit by press ESC key
– Type :wq for save configuration

– Install Server that want install Hyper-V role
– Set CPU type
– Install VMware Tool
– Power off the virtual machine (Hyper-V)
– Remove from inventory
– Go to the storage and download VMX file of the machine you want to run Hyper-V on it
– Edit the VMX file and change the guestOS to guestOS = “winhyperv”
– Upload the VMX file, right click on the VMX file and add to the inventory
– Start Virtual Machine
– Add Hyper-V Role
