How to get a Free Google Server Forever

Exactly how to get your own free google server via the google cloud platform that will work forever on the free tier!

If you’re a developer doing websites, a programmer making applications, or just need your own testing environment, this will be quick and straight to the point. This is using the google compute engine for web dev coding!

I also go over bringing up the environment with an express web server that you can host on a public IP address as a test.

You can build full websites using HTML, CSS, JS using this platform!

Be aware that Google does calculate its web server instances based on the CPU, Memory, Storage and Usage, so it is possible to be charged if you go over it!

  1. I won't recommend it because as soon as the lab compromising 1:30 hours, ends up. The RDP ends up!

Abain we need to start lab and again new RDP created for next 1:30hours and with new IP!

Changing IP again n again can cause a serious problem.

    Any recommendations????
    Solution????

  2. Bruh this is sick! i'd still love to collab with you remotely if you're keen! if not, all good! great content as per usual

  3. will it work if I get message like this : "Your free trial is over, but you can still access the Always Free tier by signing up for a full account.
    " ?

  4. I was under the impression that once your free trial is over, you cannot use compute engine vm instances for free. So this isn't the case?

  5. Was looking for a platform to host my clients ERP servers and opt for Google cloud and I was impressed with the performance.

  6. Thank you @Adrian, really great share.

Here is what I found for everyone on the Free Tier: All Google Cloud customers can use select Google Cloud products—like Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery—free of charge, within specified monthly usage limits. When you stay within the Free Tier limits, these resources are not charged against your Free Trial credits or to your Cloud Billing account's payment method after your trial ends. https://cloud.google.com/free/docs/gcp-free-tier

Go to https://cloud.google.com/free/docs/gcp-free-tier#free-tier-usage-limits, to find the limits on the selected program, go down the page and see the limits for Compute Engine.

You can see the specs selected in this video meets the the free tier limits, I hope this info can provide more info.

  7. $407.77 in credits @ $4.28 monthly = 95 months or a little less than 8 years. Is that correct? My cc will never be billed until then?
