In this video, Microsoft Azure trainer Scott Duffy explains the difference between on premises computing and cloud computing, and then proceeds to show you how to register for a free trial Microsoft Azure account to see for yourself. In a hands-on demonstration, he then shows how to create a virtual machine within the Azure Portal, including setting the VM up as a web server. You will see how simple it is to publish a web app, and learn about the benefits of this platform. Finally, You will learn about the third important element of cloud computing which is storage.
