  1. Did you take into account that WPEngine has server-side caching and CDN is included? Comparing a shared hosting with a managed host isn't idle. I know Siteground is crap now but I found Vultr HighFrequency is way better than the WPEngine!

  2. You don't mention or compare multisite accounts, reseller accounts and slanted the argument to 1 year. I had a 1/2 dozen sites to move as previous host Site5 lost its edge once bought by EIG! It was not providing free ssl. I tried both Siteground Gogeek, and A2hosting reseller plan, 3 year.

Siteground provided tools but I realized putting multiple sites in 1 cpanel was asking for multiple site failures if one went down.

A2hosting.com simply moved the sites I specified for me into the reseller account each within its individual cpanel, all controlled by the whm panel all done bfore I could get to 2nd site to move on SiteGround.

Needless to say I dropped Siteground within the 30 days and stayed with A2hosting.com reseller.
